Extra information:

I am an award-winning journalist, passionate about social and humanitarian issues, global development, human rights and the environment. I like to tell people' stories and through them tackle broader issues. I prefer to look for a positive angle and present people doing incredible work, fighting and finding solutions rather than as victims. I have worked as an editor and reporter in the UK and US for the past 20 years.

I teach journalism at the University of Hertfordshire and Arcadia University.

I run short media/writing training for various social enterprises and charities, including Poached Creative and the Big Issue. I also run training on Contructive Journalism in the UK and internartionally, and workshops on reporting diversity and ethical journalism in regions of conflicts.

I also work with NGOs on increasing their global media presence, including writing and placing stories in national and international media outlets.

I am bilingual English/French.
