Extra information:

Susan would like to hear from those looking to commission her to do some writing, edit a fiction manuscript or to tell/sell a new, true story. To that end, she has set out a portfolio here:

Susan Wallace is a well-established, senior freelance journalist and feature writer primarily in national, British mid-market women's magazines, major regional and national newspapers and their magazine supplements. A former casino croupier, in journalism, she started out on a summer internship at Vogue in London while still a psychology student at Liverpool University and has traveled to gambling conferences in the UK (Cambridge, Birmingham, many in London) and Las Vegas - sometimes also doing travel writing e.g. Vegas, Paris, Germany.

She is a generalist with some specializations - such as sourcing, securing, pitching, interviewing and writing fascinating exclusive "real life", celebrity and health stories, This gives ordinary people who have had an extraordinary experience, as well as the famous and experts, a voice. Members of the public often get paid a fee when sharing their powerful, exclusive true story in a woman's magazine and Susan’s services are always free to them.

She has some supernatural real-life stories coming up in Take a Break’s Fate & Fortune October and November issues (out the month before.) Susan has done many dozen supernatural real life stories.

Susan's tv/showbiz back catalogue includes interviews with numerous household names, many from soap and screen. Her health articles include exclusive case studies, expert comment and state-of-the-art research/data - to inform, influence and improve lives. She also compiles high-quality, popular psychology quizzes and features (on relationships, sexuality, addiction, work, behaviour, personality, emotions, loves, lives and issues) using her psychology degree and expert/academic contacts.  She also looks to write illuminating profile pieces.

She has written on property and interiors for the Daily Express, the Manchester Evening News magazine and, in 2018, the Mail On Sunday.

Susan is a published poet and professionally edits manuscripts for authors looking to self-publish a novel. Another niche is writing commercial/corporate editorial and, as such, Susan is an award-winning advertising brochure writer. She blends her soft, artistic writing flair with achieving hard-nosed marketing aims,
