Paul Wheatley

Summary: freelance writer/editor for magazines/newspapers; author of history of Munich, 'Munich: From Monks to Modernity' (March 2010). - I write articles for the Guardian newspaper - Much of my work until recently was with Journal International’s Centurion and Departures 'lifestyle' magazines. After three years as managing editor, since early 2011 I have been entirely freelance, though I write extensively for the recently launched Centurion website. - My academic background is in history and the EU, and I am very interested in writing about current affairs (British and German), reporting on business in Germany, football and travel, for example.
