Safiullah Tazib (Journalist)

An experienced journalist based in London. Mostly write on issues concerning Afghanistan, but also keenly observing the happenings in Greater London. I first started as a photographer for a Mujahideen paper back in Afghanistan in the dying year of Soviet invasion. Where, incidentally, Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah, the then leader of Hizbullah cropped up as my inaugural assignment. Armed with a Soviet made Zenit camera, I hounded him around and reported about his motives for visiting Mujahideen training camps. This was before attaining a BA in Mass Comm, Post-grad Diploma in Journalism and my residency in the United Kingdom.
